Country House chooses DPJ Fire and Security Ltd to Install Kentec’s Vizulinx Alarm Management System
During the summer of 2018 DPJ were approached by a consultancy group to design, supply, install and commission new fire and intruder alarm systems for a client that was renovating a property in Henley-on-Thames. The property was to be extensively refurbished with all new services for the homeowners to enjoy.
As part of the refurbishment a new addressable fire alarm system was to be installed, along with a wireless intruder alarm system. Part of the package was to provide a monitoring service that would alert the housekeeper and security if any faults or alarms occurred whilst the property was unoccupied; but the homeowners did not want a traditional monitoring service provided by an alarm receiving centre ARC.
In this case DPJ turned to Kentec’s Vizulinx Alarm Management as the solution; with no ongoing service charges it was the ideal choice for the homeowner. The Vizulinx unit has the ability to monitor up to 16 inputs that can be configured independently to one another to send alarm, alert, fault, disabled, test, technical alarm and security messages to mobile phones, pagers and email addresses via SMS text or internet connection. It is very versatile and can be configured to monitor any system that can provide a fault free contact. Going
forward, the unit will also monitor the water and heating systems.
The unit was installed and commissioned in under a day using the built-in web server page.
