DPJ Fire and Security Ltd chosen
to install Kentec’s Syncro AS Panels, Printer Modules & Damper Panels for LUL
Over the past few years DPJ Fire and Security Ltd has been involved in the fire alarm installation of London Underground SER (Signal Equipment Room) projects. Due to DPJ’s experience and engineer knowledge in the specific installation requirements of London Underground, DPJ have worked with our client on over 10 of these projects, each one being handed over following completion of witness testing and detailed submitted paperwork.
The chosen panel by London Underground for the SERs is the Kentec Syncro AS 2 Loop Panel (Hochiki protocol) and Printer Module, both finished in Red. The panel meets the stringent LUL requirements and provides the level of reliability required for a LU site. The onboard relays are used to send fault and fire signals to the local station control as each site is unmanned. The Kentec Syncro AS fire alarm panel ensures that the critical equipment within the SER rooms is safely covered for the future.
A number of the sites have also required a damper control panel to control air inlet and outlet dampers. For this the Kentec 4-way Damper Control Panel (DD0004), finished in red, was specified. The panel offers control of up to four 230v AC or 24V DC motorised dampers.
