Installation of complete replacement AOV system in two high rises in Herne Hill.
Working alongside one of our experienced electrical contractors DPJ installed a complete new AOV system in two high-rise blocks of flats in Herne Hill. Both blocks consisted of 17 floors, each with double opening windows controlled by chain motors, smoke detection, door retainers, reset button (housed in red FB2 box) and comfort cooling switch, allowing residents to open the windows to a set reduced opening for fresh air within the floor lobby. From design of the windows and control system through to installation and handover, our engineers completed the project within the given time frame and with minimal disruption to residents. This project was completed during lockdown.
