Multi-site Flame Detection Installation
DPJ were approached to provide quotations for the design, supply, install and commissioning of Flame Detection across several recycling sites throughout the UK.
Following on from specific site surveys with site personnel to determine the ‘hot spots’ and danger areas, DPJ designed the required systems and in September 2020 the installation of the containment, wiring and sundries commenced at the primary site. To avoid having two interlinked systems we also supplied equipment to replace the existing analogue fire alarm system; at no extra cost to our client. At the beginning of October, the flame detectors were installed and commissioned. Despite some delays encountered due to Covid 19, the project was successfully completed.
