Custodian Data Centre, an existing DPJ client following the upgrade of the fire alarm and control panel in 2018, contacted our Projects team to help them design and expand one of their existing data halls.
The project required the addition of a Kentec Syncro XT 4 Area Panel to the existing Syncro XT network. This was coupled with new Vesda VEP aspirating detection and the installation of new pipework and nozzles to disperse the IG55 gas extinguishing agent from a central bottle store, with a multi room diverter valve arrangement.
The fire alarm cause and effect strategy was updated and linked to the client’s Building Management System to provide the earliest opportunity to control an emergency situation, should one occur.
