We are currently seeking a confident, experienced and motivated individual to join our team in our friendly office based in Battlesbridge.

The role focuses on the initial stages of the sales process by predominantly contacting potential clients, developing a rapport and generating qualified leads for our sales and projects teams. The successful candidate will become an integral part of our small, growing business; with the opportunity to develop this role and progress their career in sales and business development.

Reporting to the Managing Director, key responsibilities will include:

Researching, mapping and identifying prospective clients and new business opportunities

Cold-calling potential clients and establishing rapport with decision-makers

Qualify in-bound leads/enquiries prior to handing over to sales and projects teams

Re-establish communication with lost leads/clients

Generate appointments for sales and projects teams

Assist with maintaining and developing existing customer relationships

Follow up mass communication and marketing (emails and social media) with the aim of securing appointments

Update and maintain customer databases across various electronic platforms

Create and maintain a process for capturing information to support future marketing campaigns

Provide weekly/monthly updates, reports and feedback to Directors

Experience and Skills

Sales/cold-calling experience essential

A proven track record of success in generating qualified leads

Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, google and social networking platforms

Customer service oriented with a positive, professional attitude

Confident telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously

Experience in the Electrical/ Fire & Security industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be given

Full UK Driving Licence
